FROM NORTHERN WESTCHESTER

UPPER WESTCHESTER:  Take Hutchinson River Parkway South to exit #11 (E. Third Street) make right at traffic light. Keep straight until you reach So. 1st Ave.  Make right turn onto So. 1st Ave.  Go two blocks, the library is on the left, in the middle of the block.

FROM CROSS COUNTY PARKWAY:  Take Cross County Parkway East to Exit #7(West Broad St.).  Make left turn onto Broad Street, go one block to Gramatan Avenue.  Make a right turn, continue on Gramatan Avenue through circle to the bridge at E. 1st St., make a left turn go 2 blocks, and turn right onto So. Second Ave.  The library is on the left, in the middle of the block.

FROM SAW MILL RIVER PARKWAY:  Take Saw Mill River Parkway South to Cross County Parkway East to Exit #7 (Follow directions for CROSS COUNTY PARKWAY)

FROM SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER

BRONX RIVER PARKWAY:  Get off at the Yonkers Avenue exit 10a/, turn right, go straight along Mount Vernon Avenue(Yonkers Avenue becomes Mount Vernon Avenue) until you reach the fork (map1) (Stevens and W.Lincoln) then bear to the right on over R.R. bridge, and turn left at light onto E. 1st Street.(a.k.a. Vaccarella Blvd.).  Continue to South 2nd Ave., and turn right onto So. 2nd Avenue.  The library is on the left, in the middle of the block ( 2nd ave. entrance and Children's Library entrance).

MAJOR DEEGAN EXPRESSWAY:  North to Exit #4 (Cross County County Parkway East).  Take Cross  County Parkway to Exit #7(Broad Street) (Follow directions for CROSS COUNTY PARKWAY)

THROGS NECK BRIDGE:  Stay on 95 until you see a sign for the Hutchinson Blvd. Parkway North.  Take the Hutchinson River Parkway to Exit #9 (Wolf’s Lane, Mount Vernon and Pelham).  Make a left turn. At the 1st traffic light turn left towards E. 3rd Street in Mount Vernon. Keep straight until you reach  So. 1st Ave.  Make right turn onto So. 1st Ave.  Go two blocks the library is on the left, in the middle of the block.

WHITESTONE BRIDGE:  From the Whitestone Bridge, bear left at the sign for HUTCHINSON RIVER PARKWAY
