Chess Club
Players all ages and skills levels are invited to join us in the Fiction Room of our Mount Vernon Public library. Learn new moves and brush up on your chess strategy and skills with Greg 'Its Fun and free !' If you don't know how to play but have always wanted to learn, stop by and get started. (except library closings and holidays ) Meetings will be held ?Wednsdays 3:30pm - 5:00pm.
Trading Cards Club- Teens and Tween are invited to play Yugioh with instructor, Paul Fountain. The trading card club is open to all ages and all skill levels. So join us and, “Let’s Duel!” Trading Card Club meets normally on Wednesdays, 5:00 –7:00pm
Freestyle Dance Sessions -
Join with other teens and tween as the perform the dance styles called "get a life" This freestyle session allows you to express your creativity in a fun and safe atmosphere. The event is open to tweens and teens. Freestyle dance will be held - to be announced
Chocolate Chapters - Urban Fiction BookClub
Join young adults 16 and older as we discuss the latest Urban Fiction titles.
the 'Spot' for Teens -
"The Spot” at the Mt. Vernon Library is the place for teens to be. The Spot is host to a variety of teen programming, from Open MIC Poetry, Karaoke Night, Teen Arts and Crafts, Game Night Sessions and guest speakers. Teens are invited to join us at “the Spot”. We promise you a great time!

e one and all to see our NEW Graphic Novels, talk about Graphic Novels, Manga, and Comics. We meet once a month to share ideas, opinions, and requests for graphic novels. In the future we may be holding special events with guests, films, or activities. Next Meet: February 29th 2012.
