Part-Time Digital Librarian
Mount Vernon Public Library (NY) is seeking a Part-Time Digital Librarian. This person will plan and conduct computer programs, work with staff librarians to update and develop website, staff reference desk and work with the Director to develop digital programming and services for the library. ALA accredited Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science and New York Public Librarian Certificate required. Demonstrated commitment to public service in an urban public library setting. Tact and skill in working with the public and staff. Availability to work nights and weekends. This is a civil service position and requires taking the examination after hire. Up to 17.5 hours per week, $28.05 per hour.
